This is a simple floral design. I have tried the design with herringbone stitch and with long and short. The threads used are Anchor cotton embroidery skeins.
The below one is with long and short. Of course for long and short effect to be seen, bigger floral design is the most suitable. Still just to see the difference I tried it. The stems are embroidered with stem stitch.
The below one is tried with herringbone stitch. And the stem with stem stitch.
This design can be used as motif on shirt, blouse or saree.
