Floral embroidery design – buttonhole stitch

This design is floral embroidery design.

This design can be used as motifs on saree, bed sheets or table cloths. This also can be used on dresses.

1. Buttonhole stitch/ blanket stitch to fill the flower outline. is a versatile and decorative stitching technique used in hand embroidery. It’s not just for securing buttonholes; it’s also great for outlining shapes, creating borders, and adding texture and interest to  embroidery projects.
2. Stem stitch to embroider the stems.The stem stitch is a classic embroidery stitch commonly used for outlining and creating smooth, continuous lines in hand embroidery. It’s named for its frequent use in creating the stems of flowers, but it’s versatile and can be used for a variety of purposes. Stem stitch is the basic embroidery stitch , very easy to learn too.
3. Detached chain stitch: The detached chain stitch, also known as the lazy daisy stitch, is a lovely embroidery stitch that forms small, petal-like loops. It’s often used to create flower petals, leaves, and other decorative elements in hand embroidery.
